Highway 57 Project - Forecast for week of August 11, 2025

The crew is continuing the gravity sewer line installation this week, working Northward from the old mill site.  This is the deepest part of the excavation (~17 feet deep!) so it is dangerous and slow going for now.  The crew also hit some very large rock that will need to be clawed or hammered to remove it which also slows progress significantly. 

The current outlook is to be excavating in front of the Lamb Creek Fire Station some time during the week of August 18.

We will continue to alert homes and businesses along the excavation path when work is imminent and will keep any disruptions a short as possible.
