Highway 57 Project - Week of May 4 update

We have made it through the busiest intersection of the project (Williams Drive) and are now moving North at a pretty consistent clip.  This week we should be through the primary commercial area and continuing North toward Millies.  There are a few electrical service crossings that will need to be temporarily taken down to allow the crew to work safely.  We are working closely with Northern Lights to alert potentially affected customers and we're keeping the power interruptions as brief as possible.

Next week, paving will occur (probably on Friday May 15), starting at the North Tamrak complex entrance near Chimney Rock and progressing Southward.  The approaches that are not able to be paved this time around will be completed toward the conclusion of the project around the end of May or early June.

We will continue to alert homes and businesses along the excavation path when work is imminent and will keep any disruptions a short as possible.
